We process personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and other applicable Indian law. For personal data processed through this website and our services, C‑Quence acts as a Data Fiduciary.

1. What we collect

Contact details you give us — name, business name, phone/WhatsApp number, email address, and anything you write in our demo or contact forms.
Business information — details about your business shared during demos, onboarding or support.
Usage data — pages visited, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and referral source, collected via cookies and analytics tools.
Advertising data — if you arrive via one of our campaigns, ad platforms (such as Google Ads or Meta) may set cookies or pixels to measure that campaign.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18, and our services are intended for business use by adults.

2. Why we collect it (purposes)

To respond to your enquiry and schedule the demo or onboarding call you requested.
To provide, maintain and improve our services once you become a client.
To send you service communications, and — only with your consent — marketing updates.
To measure and improve our website and advertising campaigns.
To comply with legal obligations, including tax, accounting and security requirements.

3. Consent

Where the DPDP Act requires consent, we collect it clearly at the point of collection (for example, when you submit a form). You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at the address below; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out, and some processing may continue where the law permits it without consent (for example, retaining tax records).

When we build and maintain a storefront or app for your business, the customer data inside it (your customers' accounts, orders, addresses) belongs to you. You decide the purposes of that data; we process it on your behalf to run the service, and we export it to you in standard formats on request or on exit.

7. Storage, security and retention

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, with access restricted to those who need it.
Security logs are retained for at least 180 days in line with CERT‑In directions.
Financial and tax records are retained for the periods required by law (typically up to 8 years).
Enquiry data from forms is retained only as long as needed to serve your request and for a reasonable follow‑up period, unless you become a client.

8. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you have the right to access a summary of your personal data, correct or update it, request erasure where we no longer need it, nominate a representative, and raise a grievance. To exercise any right, email us — we will respond within the timelines prescribed by law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
